Local Indie Musicians – Kingdom Impact

Indie artists are constantly balancing between work, family, music, and ministry. We are bringing opportunity to both the artist and the fan to experience God connecting with His people through music. This also creates a streamlined process so that indie musicians and new music is more accessible to everyone. In doing so, we are creating spaces that foster a community of music and musicians of all ages. Reaching beyond an online experience to local gatherings and times of intimacy with the Father.

Here is what that looks like…

Supporting the work of the indie musician

Indie artist workshop - next day

100% of gross profits from ticket sales go to the artist

Instruments are there for musicians to use and experience

What kind of instruments do we need?

Woodwinds, Brass, Stringed (such as bass, electric and acoustic guitars), Percussion. Also any type of pedals, effects, soundboards, amplifiers, even electric pianos. Any questions, please ask here. We are a 501(c)(3), all donations are 100% tax deductible.

The concerts and events

We support indie musicians in their passion to bring our Heavenly Father glory.  These concerts are not about putting on a show, but instead getting up close to the music. They are supported through local, and sometimes limited, online events (but those are not the focus) via ticket sales. This is about making sure as many that want to can experience the music, so a pay-it-forward is in place for those that cannot afford to pay. 100% of the gross profits go to the indie musician.

Local music teachers provide more than teaching…mentorship

Music is a vital part of our society, and we put the focus on the glory of God. Music is an outward expression of an inward call. We foster that by local event centers where students can come and be trained by local indie artists.

Mmi Mobile Recording Studio
Why are we doing this?

The Mobile Music Initiative was birthed out of the desire to bring Jesus-driven discipleship outside the 4 walls…to create songs together, birth songwriters, and learn music for those who may not otherwise have access but have a desire and gifting.

“Music is a catalyst for change…it moves us and touches our hearts, our souls, and our spirits.”

MMI Camp Children
Music makes a difference!

The power that music has goes far beyond the scope of understanding. It breaks the barriers of language, touches our hearts, educates us, entertains us, exhorts us, speaks to the dark places and brings in the light of Christ. It ministers to us spiritually, emotionally, psychologically, and physically. Music education has many benefits in both children and adults…

  • Improves memory and focus
  • Helps to develop “neurophysiological distinction” between certain sounds, which improves literacy
  • Improves spatial reasoning by up to 30%
  • Leads to increased language skills
  • Improves children’s IQ and academic performance. What’s more, the longer children study music, the larger the effect.

FAQs

To become a mobile music missionary for MMI, you will need to contact us at mmi@worshiplive.com for an application.

We are looking for those who have a passion for Jesus and music, along with a compassionate heart. We are looking for those who are open to volunteering in their own town to use their gifts for mentoring others.

We will be coordinating this very shortly and would love to hear from you if you are interested in sowing an instrument into this ministry.  Please contact us at mmi@worshiplive.com or use our Contact Us form.

We are currently looking into the instruments we will use during camp. We will choose the instruments that are easy to facilitate during the short time span of each camp, as well as those that will be easy to teach.

This will be coordinated with each facility we schedule a free camp with. As the storage availability at each location will differ, so will the amount and types of instruments we will be able to leave with their team.

For now, contact us at mmi@worshiplive.com.

In order for Worship Live Ministries to schedule a camp at your facility with our Mobile Music Initiative team, we will need you to contact us at mmi@worshiplive.com. We will explain the process and schedule a camp with our MMI team at their earliest availability. Our camp is a strong, discipleship-driven set of workshops designed to teach others how to dig into their gifts and abilities and use them for Christ.

During a camp, our MMI team will share the love of Jesus while providing fun music instruction.

We will be partnering with ministries and MAC members that are in your city for follow up music instruction for your camp attendees. We don’t want the learning to end just because camp is over. We will strive to provide continuing music instruction at no cost to you.

“One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.”
