Rich Mullins Songwriting Competition

This songwriting competition is less a competition and more of a joining together for the great good of the Gospel.  As Rich would have wanted, this is an invitation, to join in something greater than yourself.  We are also giving away some really amazing opportunities to be on the first ever MAC album (Music Artists for Change™).

GRAND PRIZE PACKAGE
– 7 nights + Air to Kauai, Hawaii
– Rental car
– Choice of excursion
– Ticket to the 2021 Kauai Songwriters Conference
– VIP dinner with Conference speakers
– Studio time to professionally record your winning song (goes on the MAC album, Side B) – includes up to $500 in travel expenses. Studio musicians may be used depending upon the level of skill of the winner.
– Prize package worth up to $10,000 (no cash value)

Rules of Entry

1. To participate, complete an entry form with your name, address, and phone number, and submit it online.

2. The contest will be conducted March 17th through April 28th, 2017. Deadline for entries is April 28th, 2017. Grand prize drawing will be held on Wednesday, April 28th at the Convention Center.

3. You must be 21 years of age or older to win. No purchase necessary. One qualifier per household. You need not be present to win. Void where prohibited.

4. Approximate value of the prize is $1000.

Each entry requires the following parts:

  • One Song five (5) minutes or less (mp4, mov, wmv, mp3, wav)
  • A lyric sheet — no lyrics necessary for instrumental compositions
  • A payment — $25.00 per entry/song
  • A completed application
