Statement of Faith
We believe that our God is one God, manifested in three persons – the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. They are eternal and equal…all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present.
THE WORD OF GOD
We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, an infallible guide that is profitable for instruction, for conviction of sin, for correction of error and restoration to obedience, and for training in righteousness, behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage.
We believe that salvation is a free gift offered by God to mankind. It was paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ. He was chosen and sent by the Father to be the Lamb slain from the foundation of the earth…the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sin. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, a gift from God for the believer. It is evidenced by the ability to speak in tongues as the Lord gives utterance. We believe that the manifestation gifts of the Holy Spirit are given for the profit of the Body – prophecy, speaking in other tongues as the Lord Himself gives utterance, healing, words of wisdom, words of knowledge, faith, working of miracles, discerning of spirits, different kinds of tongues, and the interpretation of tongues. The one and same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.
We believe in the existence of Heaven and hell, that believers spend eternity following this earthly life with the Lord in His presence. Those who reject the Son of God will be doomed to spend eternity in hell. John 3:18 says, "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son."
We believe in divine healing as a promise from God. Through faith in the Name of Jesus, by the power of God, healing is manifested.
THE RETURN OF JESUS
We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus. He is coming again to judge the living and the dead. Upon His return, He shall descend with a shout to call to His side those dead and alive in Christ to be with Him forevermore.
